New Arrival
« on: October 27, 2022, 11:36:00 am »
Got this vertical Maerklin 4112/11 today. This model
has the double slide control (1 inlet 1 exhaust rod)
It is one of the earlier model from ca. 1906 with the
black painted boiler. It is almost complete with burner
and chimney. I have to clean it up and replace some
damaged handles. This model also has two drain cocks
and no pump. Video later - Arnold

You certainly know how to pick them (& find them) Arnold. that engine runs perfectly tight & true as can be, I really like the original pinstriping & faux governor ...what a delightful plant. :)

Congratulations Arnold. It's a beautiful machine, complete and a smooth runner!

Thank you for your comment - how about your new plank plant - did you steam it
already?  ;)

Arnold, that is a beautiful plant...love the vertical layout.  She is tight and true...a survivor for sure.
