Here's an idea for you Bruce. Take the engine from a Jensen 70 or similar, make it horizontal
and low. Replace the spoked flywheel with a small thick marine style wheel. That'll keep the
height and length down. Should run with that mass spinning.

Yes you do Bruce. You have the parts, the tools and know how. With your lathe and a hunk
of brass bar stock, you can make the flywheel to fit and look anyway you like.
With the way you like to improve upon things, I can see it now. Real bearings, everything
polished up, painted and shiny. Just do it! ;)
