Parade of Empire Accessories
« on: May 06, 2023, 09:14:50 am »
I hooked up all my accessories to two of my (current) favorite Empire Engines.   I got my Windlass pulley fixed by using super glue and letting it dry overnight.  I can't believe I ran out of bands, when I bought them some time back I made a point to buy a ton of them.  But then again I never expected to need to hook up so many accessories either!

It was totally a ton o' fun!  It felt like I was 5 on Chirstmas day!

I went through string and larger wire before using that last small wire I used for a special project sometime back.  Getting more bands is on the top of my list again, though putting all the accessories online is a chore that is for sure.  I had to move my truck out of the garage and clean the floor to set them all up.

Super nice set up but I wouldn't have run it on the cement. A sheet of plywood would
protect the bottoms from scratches especially on that 3k swing set. Wife wouldn't let
you do it on the carpet?

Good point on the cement, though I didn't scoot them around much at all (very light touch during the setup).  I am all out of plywood, which I wished I had.  No wife, I just wanted ample space and not run the engines on my hardwood floors.  I have a feeling these items have been through a lot worse before me!
