Stationary Steam Engine Train Layout Display
« on: February 12, 2022, 06:31:42 am »
I built an extension in order to incorporate stationary steam engines and related accessories into my gauge 1 European tinplate toy train layout. The extension rests on a substantial roll around tool cart so that I can relocate the engines away from the layout for live steaming. The large stationary steam engine is a Marklin No. 16051 and the small vertical is also Marklin. The mint boxed un-run AHI machine shop is identical to the one I received as a Christmas gift in 1960 when I was eleven years old.

Very Nice Jim!!

Lovely train display and the engines only add to a great look. My trains have been stored away for 50 yrs. I wish I had room to set them up.

Great set up!

I would love to see some video of your train layout.
