Got this Mill engine finally after 47 years of "dreaming"
It was made by a Swiss watchmaker company in 1978 - price
was enormous then and way beyond my wallet. Now I got
this 28 kg monster for much less. The main bearings have
rollers and it is made to very high standard. The governer
has an integrated oil damping. I already tried it with
compressed air - steam will follow.

At 28kg that is one big brute ..... but exceedingly lovely all the same!
With all the bearings and watchmaker precision, I'd expect that engine to be a true treasure!!
Major congratulations on making a dream come true!!!

Love the “chunkiness” of that flywheel and the extra details like the oilers and drain built into the base
