Unique 1951 Jensen Steam Engines #10 Live Steam Test
« on: May 10, 2025, 02:35:28 pm »
Unique for 1951... In addition to the round single piece magnet, I believe all other 1951 Jensen #10s came with a plywood board which replaced the solid wood board used from 1932 through 1950 yet this one has a solid wood board. There is no evidence of any of the components having been transferred from a plywood board. Tom Jensen Sr wasted nothing. I imagine he came across an unused 1940s wood base and put it to use in 1951.

Thanks, Jack Boyles, for sending this nice piece our way. It arrived in good order and runs great. I only cleaned it a little and replaced all the boiler gaskets.

Very Nice there Gil!

Having a Jensen #10 with the round Omega magnet is a rare bird all on its own, but to have it sitting on a solid wood base really does make it even more unique!!

Congratulations and well done!!!

That’s really nice.

Beautiful condition, what a beaut that is.
