From what I understand much of the green stock is actually made to slip for applications where jam-ups can occur such as conveyers, etc.
Great news Jim
Use the Loctite brand of glue as well, since i am "raised" using their o-ring kits at work.
It has never failed me there, so never had any reason to stray.
My glue here is Loctite 406. Since thatīs what comes with the kits, iīve always bought that to be safe.
But 406 it is more or less a standard cyanoacrylate glue, so assume other types (and brands for that matter) will do the job equally well.
Thanks for the tip, Jan!
I just ordered some 406 for my rubber drive bands.

Yes, they advertise it as that as well. If you look close it is textured.
Ive never seen the 2 part super glue, will have to look for it as I had troubles using plain super glue on black rubber belting and gave up on it.
Really happy with the black look of the O ring and its very limp material and very strong and that glue joins it superbly.
The latest batches of the green belting from China was the most vivid flouro green.
