Waiting on a special delivery and since I have to wait, you guys can to 😂
I don’t have a good history with DHL, so lets hope today’s a better day...
Everytime I think they've went out of business. I'll see a Dhl van.

I believe they are popular in Germany as most of my purchases from there have been shipped by them. They are worthless with helping me with questions about tracking and tell me the shipper has to contact them instead. I currently have a KMV on the way that hasn’t moved since January 21st.
This engine however is coming from Down Under and I paid quite a bit for the fastest shipping as I didn’t want it taking 3 months... So far we are only on day 5 which is very impressive as it said 2-4 days between metros.

Think you can wait a long time before that happens Bruce
As far as i can Google the company, Deutsche Post DHL has nearly ½ million employees, and DHL Express is the worlds largest international express courier.
I don´t know what is wrong in your end, as over here you won´t find many if any at all more efficient (and that´s not because all the others suck).
However both Fedex and UPS in Denmark is complete laughing stock, when it comes to private customers, having practicly no dropoff points, and solely delivering within the usual working hours.
That means that everyone with a job, has to vaste an entire payday, every time they get involved, to sit at home waiting for a package...or as in my case, drive a nearly 60 mile roundtrip to pick it up at the central, which also has to be done within working hours. At least the last solution only costs me a couple of hours and a bit of fuel, and is usually preferred.
I have about a 45-60 minute round trip to both UPS and FedEx if I miss them, DHL is a 3 hour round trip. Post office is 10 blocks or about a 2 minute drive.
Yes, would expect that to be the case, given your poor feedback on them.
DHL is a relative newcomer with you guys, with poor area coverage...just as Fedex/UPS here.
My biggest complaint is that DHL US will not communicate with DHL UK or DHL Germany, etc. If I want to call and see how my package from Germany is doing, DHL in the US will tell me that they can’t do anything about it and that I need to have the shipper from Germany contact DHL over there.
Now THAT is stupid, and a ridiculously poor customerservice!
If they can´t do it directly online, one would think they had every chance to know exactly which number to call, and then relay the information gathered to you.
Never had the need for that, as i always seem to be able to dig up my info at dhl.de, so honestly don´t know if it is the same here.
They tell me it’s because they are different companies...
Well, that was fast!! Guess that’s what happens when you pay for their faster service

I think she shipped it dry
But yes, I hope to have steam in it tonight.
I’m stuck at a doctor appointment for my youngest, so can’t open it yet...
A lot of people have a hard time tracking from Europe. One order came through Bpost, it's Belgium.
It worked great. Next seller used DHL, it sucked and never got an answer. Wait, the numbers are
laid out the same, two letters, nine numbers and two letters. Tried it and it worked even for DHL.
I guess everything comes out and through Belgium and Bpost. I made a 1:23 video and here it is.
It makes my tracking easier.

What engine have you slipped out of Australia?
I hope its not a whole plant
Here's DHL from a Canadian perspective:
https://www.cbc.ca/news/gopublic/dhl-hidden-fees-1.5935236I recently paid a ludicrous "import fee" to them by buying something on eBay where the buyer did not specify what "expedited shipping" meant, and I'll make sure that I never again have anything to do with them.

Haha Jim, this purchase is 100% your fault! 😂
I was a bit worried when the box had tape that read “DHL Repackaged”... was hoping they knew how to re-package...
