I believe the longer tube was likely done to get the condensate off the base as shown in Mike’s below, but for some reason mine is on a larger board than his and Rog’s and my setup doesn’t look as compact as their’s, so my long tube doesn’t make it to the edge of the board… Fun of collecting Jensens, they’re all different!
