Here a have a comparison of my Bing poppet valve engines. The smaller one
with 7 cm Boiler is in 100% original and mint condition. It was build around 1924-1926.
The main difference is the platform with rounded corners. The big 130/383 has a much
heavier boiler of thicker brass material and was made 1912 before WW 1. Most of these
have lost the color and have been repainted by former owners. My engine was painted too
and a transmission was added. I have rebuild the missing dynamo, burner and some other
parts and still have to make a new original looking water level. I also think about
painting the motor part in black - it is fun to steam...
