Hi folks , I just went over to IndianaRog's to pick up this beautiful Wiggers stiwi2 , & while there we visited for awhile & I marveled at all his wonderful models & such , one such model was this Wiggers Stiwi2 that he parted with & I am now the new proud owner of. If you've never owned a Wiggers ...they are an mechanical piece of art, nearly everything has been well thought out & the detail is superb , fit in finish is of the highest level right down to the Gilded metalwork. I was also able to secure the Karsten Gintshel trip hammer & I made a small oak plinth for it to sit on, I think it pairs very nicely with the Wiggers. please enjoy.

Nice buys Bruce! Never thought of belting my KG trip hammer up to a little stirling... Will have to pick up some of that poly cord and give it a try...
Curses ..... foiled again! ;c)

As you can see, it has plenty of strength.

I wonder if Michaels or Hobby Lobby (not sure if you have those, but large craft stores) would have more types to try...

Nothing to be sorry about Bruce ..... First come, first served. Just thought I'd inject a little friendly adversarial humor into your thread ... I'm actually quite happy for you that you gathered in some of Rog's treasures, while saving me some money!
I think you should have picked up his Stuart Beam while you were there as well, to save him the hassle of having to pack it up for shipping to someone else?!?!? ;c)

Is that a hint that you have a Stuart Beam on the way??

I’m very happy with my Stuart that arrived from the same collection yesterday... Been drooling over it for nearly 15 years!
Doesn´t get much better than a Wiggers, with a buildprecision close to unrivaled, and the outer finish being absolute "spitzenklasse" as well.
Well done gents, and congratulations Bruce!
That is a very nice acquisition Bruce and it is very nice you got it from Rog, i didn't know he had the stiwi2 model in his collection.
I own the Stiwi1 model, partly due to Rog's influence and they are fine machines, i regret not getting this model to keep it company!!

Nope .... even though Rog offered it to me at what may well be a once in a lifetime price .... it is still above my paygrade!
So what Stuart did you archeologically extract out of the Temple of Steam???
S-50 done to perfection with all the whistles and bells ... well a governor anyway ... perhaps?
Bruce that is just an incredible addition to your collection, a stunning Stirling engine is that Wiggers.
