Don't we all have this "problem"? You run across an interesting thing, you think about how you should approach the project, even get parts and then have to put everything on hold because more important things have priority.

Always remember, it is "only" a hobby. But I love my hobby...

I agree with this, when I am standing on hard concrete for 10+ hrs a day at work + 45 min commute each way....I have a good bit of time to "Dream up" all the fun things I would like to do to an engine when I get home, at my age, when I finally Do get home, then putting my feet up and resting in my Favorite oversize chair trumps the project.
   I keep hoping retirement will be soon enough that I will still have the desire for puttering in the shop on all my projects!
