Then....we went to town that afternoon and in a junk shop I found two more large pressure gauges, so of course I had to buy them and now they are mounted and also some copper piping that I polished and lacquered.
The door is getting heavy now

That Sir, is one cool steam room ! I'll bet when Jenny walks in (when she tells you supper is ready) she doesn't even notice a new engine Anymore...lol. You have got that nearly as jam packed as you do your workshop outside. Luv it !
I love the copper tubes on the door !
Yeah, my wife would divorce me if it ever got this far with me ;-)

LOL Bruce they are sneaking into different spots throughout the house...its a bad disease isn't it. There's some that I have triples of and should move out to make some room.

LOL Hans, you just start of slow and it just 'happens'.....if you hang around here long enough you'll learn what the 'forum effect' is.
In a nutshell you see pics or a vid of someone's new addition to their collection and all of a sudden, your life is gonna' be empty till you also have one
While not as cool as your room, my "steam" room is a smorgasbord of crap that I love. I got started collecting pinballs when I was in 5th grade when a friend of my dad gave me a 60s pinball machine. I put it on roller skates and wheeled it a 1/2 mile to my house. I am sure it was a sight to see LOL! At one point in my early 20s my Dad and I have over 50 arcade games when the owner had to clear a warehouse. He told us, "take what you want and what you don't take goes to the dump". So we took them ALL! While between my family members there are about 6 left, I only have what is in my room. It is a real sore point with my kids, to this day they are pissed when I sold off about 5 around 2010.
I am also in to audio/video/film, among other little things. This room is more or less overflow and I have no more overflow left ha! I have zero space anywhere in my home for additional items. God knows what I'll do with my Weedens that I have in Atlanta if I ever completely return to Texas. I have been told I am not allowed to sale / discard in anyway the Campus Queen or the Defender!

@NickI reckon this would be too small a 'steam room' for our Nick

I have two (2) of these that have just landed in Oz and going through customs, the plan is to screw them to the ceiling on either side of the light -

Also two (2) of these metal light fittings are coming as well and I have been able to buy the antique very low wattage bulbs that have a very nice soft yellow filament light -

Planning for them to go where the red crosses are located -

Also took of the white rope ringer from the ships bell (it was driving me to distraction) and turned up this brass one on the lathe -

Oh how I would love to properly display my collection in a shed like that!! A shame so many of them sit wrapped in tubs
