• The paper under the boiler strap may be there to keep the boiler from rotating while running. I've read where the 85's were notorious for doing that.

  I’ve heard and experienced the rotating boilers and Bruce has confirmed it. Funny that they couldn’t cut a rectangular gasket for under the strap, but I guess that’s Jensen using what’s on hand

  No theme, other than arrivals from the past two years or a select few that I kept from storing away. If I get real ambitious I may dig a tub out and find some neat stuff… some engines may have been seen before, but all the pictures will be new.
