@Nick - that is just like mine! I been wondering if my sight glass fittings had been replaced because all the other #646 photos I have seen are slightly different. It is great to see yours and mine match. Your chain seems to fit much better than mine around the back wheel. Mine seems to be exactly the same design but doesn't line up on all the teeth 100%.

Actually my fitting is square and not round like yours. Not sure what I was thinking when I first looked at your photos, so now I am back to not 100% sure if they are original or not. I am pretty sure they are Weeden parts. They might be replacements or perhaps at the end of the Steamroller run they changed shape.
I believe this would be a later model having the decal, my other roller has Weeden stamped into the firebox
