In advance of going to German in November for the Bing Museum Show, I pulled out all of my Bing Engines and took a Family Portrait.
This beast would not fit on the table. So, it got its own Portrait:

15 Family Members....so far. 🤠
What a STUNNING looking family you have there Charlie!
I always like your family portraits, Charlie. It feels like a homework assignment- see several I like, then rush to the books to find out what model it is and put them on my want list.
Thanks for the awesome pics.
Now that's a nice family portrait
WOW CHARLIE!!

I have always wanted one of those Bings up front with the firebox that surrounds the boiler. I really like how they have the heavy cast tops on their stacks as well

I almost went for one a couple weeks ago on eBay, but it did need some work (loose pieces) and I keep telling myself no more projects!

The base-mounted engine however had some very nice paint/decals...
very nice Charlie, enjoy yourself at the Bing museum & be sure to take plenty of photo's for the rest of us to view please.
Thanks for all the nice feedback.
Honestly, I didn’t know how many Bing engines I had. 🤠
Forced me to pull them all out and dust them. I moved things around and put them all together on one shelf in the Steam Cave.
So, the Bing Family has been reunited.
A very nice lineup Charlie, have fun in Germany!
Nice Charlie. Looks to me like a Marklin tried to sneak in the back row.

Well spotted! I see him hiding back there

Well then, wouldn't a Marklin be at least a second cousin once removed, so still part of the family in a way?
Charlie, That is one superb family...!!!
Gil
Holy smokes, Charlie! That's little short of amazing!
Charlie, I gotta say that your Bing Beast has some perfect purple-blueing to the boiler

and it has such a nice and big inline oiler
