Still haven't finished yet. Still got to get plexiglas cut for sliding doors and put lights in. But its getting close. Had to see if everything I wanted to put in it would fit. Still got a few more to go in but they will all fit with a little room left for a few more.
Very Nice

Really like the two on the bottom left and is that a 1" Coles Case above them?
Thanks for showing us Randy, what a nice collection.
Whoa yeah ... there is some seriously nice machinery displayed in that cabinet!
Holy cow! That's quite a menagerie. You really look a bit overloaded...I could easily store something here for you. I'd have to run it every once in a while, ya know to keep it fresh. I'm not picky which one, they all look damn fine

Hi Nick, I think that might be a 1.5" or 2" Case.
The flywheels on the bottom shelf are 8.25" on the Sam Harman Moguls.
Randy, your display case looks great with some fine model engines in it!
And..
It is clearly more than strong enough!

You have a wonderful collection Randy.
And the display case looks great.
Thank you for sharing.
Very nice, but you may as well start building a second, as you know this one will be overflowing before long!
crazydoug
Thanks everyone. The Case is a 2" scale. I built it from castings from Coles several years ago. This cabinet is one of 7 I have in my shop. The others are smaller and full of steam toys. When I get everything done I'll post pictures of all of them. Just playing having fun.
Forgot to give size. The cabinet is 8ft long, 10ft high, 2ft deep.
Great display case for your engines - looking forward to more pics.
I like that screen-cooled International at the lower left. My kind of engine!

The cabinet is much larger than I had guessed! I just bought a 2" Case, and it's a heavy engine at 140 pounds to lift up onto that shelf

We need something common in the picture for scale.
Helps out alot with the full size engines.
