9 years ago Geoff released a movie, starring a modified Wilesco 10300 "Elephant Ball Game" windup toy.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MVBeFJhC8QI immediately fell in love with all the motion on that accessory, and swiftly spent €41.79 on a brand new example to copy that idea.
Now 9 years later, i finally decided it was time to get something done with the projects here (9 years backorder, must be something of a record).
Dug this one out yesterday, killed the clockwork and added a pulley...and would you look and behold, Jan has an Elefant Ball Chucker.
Geoff has unfortunately passed in the meantime, and sadly i won´t even get the chance to give him full credit "face to face", but nonetheless...
Thanks for your inspirational being Geoff, you will be remembered!

What a wonderful machine!
I have not seen this before.
Thank you!

That turned out very nicely. I'll have to keep an eye out for one.
Hello Jan,
the elephant ball game is on my procurement list. It's just fantastic. It's just a pleasure to watch the game. I think I have the right machine to drive the model.

I have to admit, the 1st thing I did after seeing this was look for one on Ebay.
Don't feel bad about your 9 year disconnect ... at least you've got it done now. I bought one first chance I got after seeing Geoff's video, and still haven't done the necessary mods yet. It lingers in the depths of some box in the dark of storage to this day! ;c(
Thanks guys

A very fun and easy project, highly recommend it.
Daniel, i have a really large box here filled with boxes of stuff like this, which i´ve purchased over the years, with the intention to get them "steamyfied".
Found an Academy pump in there as well, which have lived in there longer than the elephant...i even managed to assemble it back then, but never to get it tested.
That kind of slacking need to change!
