My Mamod FE1. Purchased in the 90's my neglected Mamod fire engined cleaned up nicely and
after much use looks pretty good!
Snazzy! Never seen a real one.
I like that - never have been able to buy one at my price (cheap-cheap) but still have high hopes. And it did clean up well especially after being extensively used.

Thanks
I bought this from a hobby shop owner in Kenosha Wisconsin in the early 1990s. It was bought in used, but unfired condition with the original box and accessories for a reasonable price. I fired it many times with esbit, and eventually
converted it to a butane gas burner that I made myself. However I later removed the burner for another project.
I now use an early mamod meths burner from an early 70s TE1a. It had sat neglected at my mothers home for
several years until I decided to clean it up and do some polishing. It is now displayed with pride in my collection once again.
Very nice these Paul, I've never seen one in real life either.
I got a mint one for £116 for my Australian Grandson.
