Very nice Philip , I have always wanted one of these...& now you have me looking at them again. ..lol
Thanks for the video, you have a fine machine there 😊
I bet you have a grin from ear to ear Philip
An amazing looking, and very well running addition Philip.
Congratulations !!!
Thanks guys i'm very happy with this engine, so much so i'm looking at some other bits to sell to fund getting the vertical engine to keep it company!

My biggest regret is that i didn't get some of these engines years ago but i've corrected that now!

Sorry Bruce!

seriously though they are great value for the money and i don't think you'd be disappointed if you got one.
I have to say the engine is running better and better with every steaming, it is as smooth as a knife through hot butter and will now run on less than 5PSI!
That engine is jewelry!
I've been thinking of getting a CMS engine, but I love twin flywheels and unfortunately they needlessly cut the crank short! I'll check out MSM

Thanks!
MSM produce some nice engines and are very good value for money. The crankshaft on them is certainly long enough to fit another flywheel/pulley which is something i plan to do with mine.
I'd like to say a big THANK YOU to David (vpro) who machined me the smaller flywheel casting and drilled out the Wilesco pulley for the other flywheel.
I'd hope that you would all agree that the Pevensey looks much more complete now.

Plus i'll now be able to drive accessories off of it!
a very nice engine Philip , exceptionally more robust than a Jensen #20 , the eccentrics are vastly superior as well as the reversing mechanism.
In its current configuration it looks nothing short of a powerful and capable MACHINE!!!
I like that a lot, makes for a better setup. Since I have one coming in the mail I may have to talk to David soon.

I agree Bruce and also vastly superior to Stuart's factory 10 series reversing gear in my eyes as i've never liked the bent rod eccentrics on those. The MSM ones look so much better and are more in keeping with full size engines.
