Just noticed this one up for sale a few days ago, and since i don´t believe that i´ve seen one "in the wild" before, and most definitely not one in this condition, i decided to bite the bullet and bag it.
It´s a very simple oscillator of swedish origin, named PUB after the swedish retail store Paul U. Bergström.
Here´s a quote from Peter´s Toysteam:
"Swedish retailer PUB (Paul U Bergström) had various steam engines in their assortment and also sold one in their own name."
On Peter´s site, there´s also an ad showing the engine from the 1945 Christmas catalogue, so i assume mine is a just barely postwar edition as well.
Anyway, without further ado, here´s my latest addition:

Apart from the obvious need for a cleaning, and the smokestack (original look should be very easily replicated), it appears to be original and complete, so i´m quite happy having it here on the shelves

A new one for me
Is the fill plug angled out the side of the boiler to prevent over-filling?
Also looks like the firebox venting was made by drilling two holes near each other and no filing away the extra afterward.

Very nice Jan ... looks to be fairly low mileage for age. The cylinder assembly looks a bit like ones seen on ADE engines, so I wonder about any relationship possibilities there. Also, Id say that drilling two holes overlapping is a bit of a PITA and quite time consuming, so I wonder if those firebox holes might not be stamped out/knocks out like in an electrical box.
I must add that the burner looks just like the tins that fillet of anchovies comes in here! -
