Got a nice little Bing today - but my "show room" is overcrowded.
The price was low and it looks so cute - I had to grab it
Guess the whistle has been replaced - looks like Ha-Mobil.
When tested I soon checked this burners produce too much heat.
This model with only one Ring on Top of the Boiler seems rare - but
I do not know - always have seen with 2 Rings.
Next week I go for a new hunt (seems stupid)

Another nice one Arnold,
Bings are nice engines.
Great find!
Also let me know when the Bing 130 16? [51cm height?] on the top right is available! its brilliant! Id love it myself! Sure could free up some space and add engine funds!! Only if you have finished enjoying it of course! Until then keep collecting and great find. Thanks for sharing as always.

Can the top ring slide off? seems so. I can take closer.

Excellent addition Arnold!
And that shelf is amazing to look at!

I already have a gleam in my eye again.
Wonderful! 👍
Hi Arnold,
I don't think this engine had 2 rings on top. I think it's just a little older than the double top ring Bing engines.
Nice, engine. You have my permission to buy more.

Hi Bob - have a view to the "Schiffmann" Book - there you will find the Bing with only 1 Ring.
I mailed to Mr. Reinhard Schiffmann and he confirmed this version - but has no Explanation for it.
Cheers, Arnold

Thanks for the good info and pictures.
I need to get a copy of that catalog.
I bought a Bing vertical that's in the mail that has just one top ring and one center like yours. The base and burner are different than yours and an older style. The burner is a pot style. And the top of the boiler is nickel plated above the ring.
I think it's just a little older than your engine because of it's burner style and base. Your engine probably followed it with the new style base and burner but still with one ring at the top.
