This popped up a few days ago with best offer and I threw quite a low offer ( plus the cheap shipping) which was accepted. Didn’t know how much would be copper or steel, but looking it over, just the super heated steam line is steel, everything else is copper or brass, so I lucked out there! Of course the firebox/stack are tin. Curious if anyone recognizes it or if it’s a complete home build with some good parts on it? Yes I see the asbestos and it will be carefully handled/replaced

Guess it is a home built boiler - armatures consider to be all from Stuart England
Congrats - nice object to restore and add a mill engine
Steam valves are Stuart Nick
Yes, it has Stuart and Bassett-Lowke parts, but I have found similar boilers in my Cole’s Power Models catalogs from the 30’s-50’s, so I was wondering if anyone had seen one like this before.
That looks like a very nice and efficient design to me that was a very nice score you found!!!
What a cool looking boiler, none the less. Would make a great fit for a steam plant
