• Well, here another version from my collection (as the one in the video posted by Arnold).This time the famous "Umsteuerung", reversing gear, patented in 1906, for two-cylinders. Quite rare, if I am not mistaken...

• If I may add:
  The plaque shown in the third photo posted by Don6698 say "German Engine D.R.P.", quite a common error as DRP is not the abbreviation of a company's name but short for "Deutsches Reich Patent" (i.e.patented in the German Empire; 1877-1945). There was also a "minor" version, the DRGM = Deutsches Reich Gebrauchsmuster", which offered some protection for a certain model oder design.
  You will find the DRP on some early Carette engines.
