Got this beautiful Jewel today from Vienna Austria.
It looks like a little steam engine but it is a
Cigar Cutter. The funny is there is also a compass
and a thermometer. The fire door is a little compartment
for matches. If you turn the fly wheel a cigar will be
cut when holding it into the cylinder. Very sweet and rare
enjoy, Arnold

Hi Arnold
I love it so clever you will now need to get some real Cuban cigars to try it out.
Regards Paul.
Unusual and beautiful machine!
That's one of the neatest "steam punk" accessories I've ever seen (or heard of)
Well, Arnold, "Urs Portmann" in Kreuzlingen, Thurgau, CH, offers a wide range of Cuban and other cigars in his "walk-in humidor"- but I see the danger that with this cute device you will inevitably cut more cigars than you will be able to smoke...
Very neat Arnold.
You are a great hunter of all things Steam related.

That is a jewel. Such beautiful condition.
Great collectible item !
PLANK also had a small cigar cutter in 1903, only 90mm tall...
