Two new engines arrived an hour ago - one superb English Bassett Lowke Steam Plant
and one giant Swiss made Steam Engine weighing approx. 100 lbs. Flywheel dia. 13"
Have some pictures and will make more next days (after cleaning and service). The first overview
is very good - nothing wrong or missing. The Bassett Lowke is probably 100 years
old and in a all original Status. No new paint and blued steel ground on the wood base.
The 3 Mushroom Burner looks great too. The price was in 1920 four pounds sterling
and 10 shillings - today the multiplier probably is times 100?!

Such an impressive machine

Can’t wait for the video
Two well preserved machines.
I like them both!
Were these acquired in a private sale, auction or eBay?
Do you know any history on the large Swiss engine?
Looking forward to seeing the videos.
