Just finished a cosmetic restoration of this large model engine but know nothing about it except that it's old (but now with a new wooden base). Any thoughts? For reference the heavy brass flywheel is 14 in. (35 cm) diameter. The columns of the crosshead guide are topped with oilers which allow oil to seep onto the uprights through tiny holes.

Wow Brent, that is lovely (& large) steam engine & rings many of my bells. that beauty runs very true & with elegance...very nice job on that Sir.
Beautiful very old engine Brent.
Runs like a Swiss Watch.
Thank you for posting the video.
Thanks for the video Brent, a very nice engine
This one's not really my cup of tea but thanks for your comments.
Nice work, Brent! It runs great as well.
Never seen one quite like that, but think it to be exceptional. Couldn't be any smoother in operation, well done on that restoration!
That is an impressive engine, nice restoration too.
Kind regards
Ade

Whats not to like about it ??
It has parallels and motion ?
Cheers
Dennis
Yes but no Watt's parallel motion like my favorite beam engines.
