KISS principle
KISS is an acronym for "Keep it simple, stupid" as a design principle noted by the U.S. Navy in 1960.[1][2] The KISS principle states that most systems work best if they are kept simple rather than made complicated; therefore simplicity should be a key goal in design, and that unnecessary complexity should be avoided.
This in no way is a criticism Lenn - I just like the complex latch design you came up with instead of a hasp and staple or something like that. There used to be a saying that there was no reason to keep it plain and simple when you could make it complex and wonderful.
Thanks Larry, the meaning of KISS eludes me.
KISS= Keep It Simple Stupid
Very neat and compact Lenn. Everything at hand when and where you need it.

......Allan.
Thanks Allan it should be handy.
What a great idea Lenn. As others have noted, the latch is great. Very fine work!
Nice to have it all stored in a single compact portable unit, well done Lenn !
Thannks Jan, the teeth could be better but i cut them free hand on the edge of the chop saw.
I think itīs great Lenn !
Adding details like that to otherwise "standard" items, lifts them to an entirely different level, adding a cool unsuspected surprice-factor.
