We can not believe what they charge for Halloween costumes ($40+), so for fun and to keep it simple, we let the kids make their own this year... they wanted to be mummies. They looked a little better earlier in the night when my wife had put dark makeup around their eyes, but that was a mistake as they rubbed it into their eyes right away, complaining that it was itchy...

And 2 years ago my brother had a Halloween party, we had both just seen a terrible movie, The Babadook, so I went as him and my wife as Annabelle
I stopped at McDonalds on the way to his house and ordered through the drive-up, was fun paying with the bills between my long finger tips
