I could date this one to 1906 as a Bing "Universal" 9641/4.
It was the biggest in its range.
It's in pretty good condition for it's age, unfortunately the chimney is missing, but that will be found sooner or later.
It will be dismantled completely and each component will get a clean.
But unfortunately to my frustration it must wait until my broken arm is healed.
Should someone else have a similar engine I'm always interested to see it.
I've been looking at the net but not much was found on it.

So a bit of patience for the restoration…
Cheers,
Danny
Another Beauty that should be an easy restoration with your skills. Love the larger boiler and I assume the boiler band is not original being it covers some vents? Also like the heavy connecting rod and the steam line looks straight as an arrow
Sorry for your arm Danny .... I can feel your frustration at not being able to start taking care of this big beautiful Bing. But when the time comes, I'm certain that you will do an exceptional job of it, just like always!
Any progress on this one Danny?
soon Charlie, got a lot of projects going on, and I still am looking for a chimney…
You know what they say Patience is a virtue…
