Bought this from a local steam club. It had been damaged in transit but not that badly.
Broken boiler pipes, bend up whistle ,pressure gauge, and bent governor that was also loose.
A bit big for my cabinet I think
Looks like it is capable of serious work .
Cheers
Dennis
That is some serious kit the can/has done real work, looks very quality built. very nice....cant wait to see it running.
Very nice, indeed. Waiting for the video....
Impressive piece Al

But I thought you were down-sizing?
Great engine and worth the work to rebuild.
This is exactly what I like best - you can make
a restoration in your own style. Enjoy....
You are going to need to build a separate building for this one.
You are playing with the big boys now.
I can't wait to see it under steam!
Amazing addition to your steam collection Al.
Impressive piece Al
But I thought you were down-sizing?

Down-sizing house and collection so getting this engine ready to sell.
I"ll be moving south and they don't have basements.
Oohh.. very nice, but it would break my rule of only buying what i can carry. Of course i,ve broken that rule occaisonally!
Great rig, Al...!!! I know you'll be having fun with that project.
