Hello, is this going to be by category or any engine type can be submitted each month? I really don't see tge point in having a competition between very different engines, such as home builds mixed with tin toys and high end engines. Each can be nice in its own and should be compared with engines of a similar type.
Thanks for that and in the future there will be categories. First time out, we'll let it be open season on all types.. general admission , so to speak.
This is as much a test of our ability to do this as it is a contest. Looking forward to your entry.
After this we can and will do categories such as rolling pieces, boats, stationary, Stirling cycle, accessories, etc.
Thanks for asking!
Gil
As for myself, I have voted in the past for some plain engines based heavily on a creative setting or backdrop , I really enjoy someone who has put some extra effort into the photography.
Yes, a well planned and presented picture is easy to like.
I totally agree. The closer to a diorama the better.
I’m really sorry about this.
My ISP had a glitch. It was not sending to multiple recipients.
I reported it as did many others.
When they tried to fix it, it came back with a vengeance…. and then some.
Everyone got about 10 copies of the email.
You should never have been spammed by me.
In the future I hope to have the PM system working so you can attach a photo to the private message.

Gil .... I just sent you a PM with a photo attached from PB and it seems to have worked. Let me know if you got it okay.
Yes. I got it. Photobucket embeds work fine.
Thank you.

My entry. A 1977 Jensen 50 that still has its original box shipping crate and paperwork still with it.
Sent my submission to your email address:)
