7-1/2" gauge on the St. Croix RR Highline for Fathers Day

I ran my coal fired 7-1/2" ga. 0-4-2 on the Highline.  Coal fired with Welsh coal, good draft, good axle pump. Was very fun. Here is the link.

Runs great and looks to be about a TON o' Fun!

But isn't it a bit of a worry with that much weight moving along that high up in the air?

This loco only weights about 150 lbs. As such me on the riding flat exceeds that by quite a bit.  The track is well reinforced with the truss rod construction.  I was initially concerned about a possible derailment, but the track was very true.

Yes, the construction looks strong enough and well engineered, but it was the possibility of a highline derailment that prompted my comment.
