That certainly is a whole lot of work going on there Tony.

How many active workers does the club have that are making real contributions to this ongoing effort?

Hi Daniel,

How many active workers does the club have that are making real contributions to this ongoing effort?

The club has about 170 members, of which about a 100 are active, there are 8 of us that play on the garden railway and 6 are engaged on its construction.  We hope to have it operational by the autumn so be in use for next year. We are very fortunate that the club site is in a public park well within the Cardiff city limits. Cardiff is a small city, and the capital of Wales, with a population of about 370,000.  We are lucky in getting a lot of support from Cardiff residence which allows us to develop our site.

Take care Tony.
