Playing trains in 1989
« on: February 24, 2023, 07:13:11 am »
Hi,

I came across this short old video made by a friend of our first 16 mm scale model railway known as Rhydypenau Light Railway.  Back then 16 mm layout were fairly rare. The locomotives are; an R/C Merlin Maestro, a Mamod and Toucan a modified Mamod.

Take care Tony.

Oh My  .....  Set the way-back machine Tony!

That was a very nice layout you folks had back in the day. I'm sure you inspired a whole lot of kids, of all ages, by sharing that at events!

NICE!!!

Nice build! Regner has just come out with a Guinness engine, but you beat them by 33 years.
