Thanks everybody, if you watch the other videos, you can see some of the engines I have owned in the past. I am high functioning autistic and many of them caused my anxiety to go way up as they would have a tendency to run very very fast and a trip to the ground from that raised line would not be good for them. Hence why my Frank S is RC controlled. I tried a few geared engines, and while they are neat, they were so slow that it got boring to watch. The Frank S is my only G scale live steamer right now. I have a couple steam style that are battery powered, along with 2 big diesels that have onboard battery power. I am just starting in the O scale side again. I grew up with O scale, Lionel to be exact, mostly from the late prewar and early postwar era. Now I am smitten with the UK tinplate trains from Bassett Lowke, some of the higher end Hornby and the new stuff from ACE trains and Darstaed. At the moment, I am in a quandy. I can buy myself a nice 12vdc Flying Scotsman from Bassett Lowke that is super nice and boxed OR a Bassett Lowke Enterprise 4-4-0 live steam, 2 Hornby LNER bogie coaches(both boxed), a Hornby tinplate station and tinplate signal box for the same as just the Scotsman would cost me. I love live steam, but at shows, sometimes you just need something to orbit the railway whilst engines cool down and are serviced. So I am leaning toward the big LNER A3 Pacific. I have some 5" gauge ride on trains that I am selling and once sold, I can get coaches and another steamer.
