Nice acquisition. If the extra track is troubling you send it to me. ;)

They are fine for what they are but don't expect a world class 3.5 in engine. The boiler capacity is small giving short run times.
The plastic gas tanks are a death trap but metal replacements are available.
The gears and slip eccentrics need to be watched and kept tightened or they will fall apart.
the burner tends to foul up easily and needs to be cleaned regularly.

Does yours have the safety valve with the filler or in the steam outlet?
