Four days ago I received the kit and started (after some reading) with deburring the column body, front mask and base plate.

The front mask had to be bent to match the body.

Bengs Makes some really nice kits.  I really like this one!
A complex system that does not work is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked just fine.

Next day I drilled 3 holes 1.6mm and tapped M2 threats to fix the front mask to the body.

This may be soldered too, but as I worked exactly and it fits tight I won't...

Two main bearings and one gear bearing drilled and turned

Next step was to clean the main wheel on the lathe and to assemble the bear & guide housing

That IS nice!....I have the Bengs kit for Generator used in that video as an electric motor, Bengs makes nice kits. Not sure when I will get time to machine it though :-\

Meanwhile the clutch fork is bended & assembled and the bear & guide is set up for clearing test with the gears
