living van
« on: December 06, 2020, 04:35:29 am »
Hi,just completed this kit off e bay for my Maxitrak and Mamod engine.
All furniture, range and lamp all made from scrap balsa.I 'glazed' the windows and put a frame around them to finish it.
Supplied wheels were ditched in favour of spoked.
The range has a micro bulb inside and power supplied by a mini 12 volt battery. Its held in position by magnets for easy removal to change battery when required.
The towing bar was swapped for a piano wire brazed onto front wheel assembly.Great fun to make. [ Guests cannot view attachments ]

That turned out quite nice - well done! I like the added detail like the loaf of bread with slices on the table and the apparent fire in the stove.
Regards,
Larry
