There was a time where I watched "60 minutes" every week, now I don't believe a word they say. The way I see it is , if a highly advanced "nether world" wanted to conquer or annihilate us , they probably could have at anytime. its nothing I'm going to loose sleep over.
Just the point I made Bruce .... if truly alien in nature, I'm not too worried as they've been around forever and not done much of anything too negative that I'm aware of. My concern is that they are the product of some here & now worldly actors, of whom we should be very wary and concerned!
Regarding high underwater speeds....Super cavitating torpedoes can
travel at, I've read, 250kph. If a torpedo, why not a small submersible?
Supercavitating torpedoes do exist and can clock a couple of hundred miles per hour, so yep, that is possible, but only with a very thin elongated shape, unlike the "objects" in question, at this point in our "known" ability to do such things. Meanwhile, propulsion is very conspicuous, whereas these current reports suggest no known or visible form of propulsion. Not saying any of this can't be done, nor that there is nobody that can do it. But only that it is unknown to the current general knowledge base, so whoever is doing it, if actually real, clearly has a significant edge!
