Jan, the "Stewart's" speed is variable over a significant range, so as to best "harmonize" with any individual lot of pencils, but as seen in the videos there are several rolling across the drum at any given moment. The shrouding and belting makes it very difficult to actually see that part of the operation, and I was truly fair amazed to see it showing so well in the videos. I certainly won't be able to provide you with that clear of a view. The daisy wheel feed from the hopper will be a bit easier to show, though it is in a rather fully enclosed area as well, so somewhat low light.
I'll go looking through my computer, for pics of other machines that might be of interest. Perhaps you'll force me into returning on a non-work day, so I can get good photos of many things, rather than try to do so, and interrupting work.
Cool stuff guys and my wife loved the picture at the start of your thread Daniel, but I think she was talking about the flowers
Same flowers in the Plumb Bob post, so no need to bore her by showing her those again, though they may show a little better there.
Same flowers are going to show in Pt. 3 that I'm just working to get posted now, so she can skip that one too! ;c)
