Converted Hurricane Lamp
« on: January 14, 2025, 04:26:04 pm »
Bought this old rusty hurricane lamp from an 'antique' shop around 6 months ago, its had three (3) coats of clear coat so it won't rust anymore and looks quite nice.
Finally found the correct E27 low wattage filament bulb for it and converted it over. I stained the white power lead and the white E27 light socket with stain and the plastic took it really well. Globe looks a bit wonky in the pics, but that's fixed now.

Thanks guys appreciated, I was really impressed how the stain took to the white E27 light socket and white electrical cable.
