What do these Eachine sellers get out of doing this anyway? Do they use our money for the 2 weeks that they have it?

Perhaps, but more likely they are just trying to make a buck selling something they don't normally stock, thinking (hoping) they can get it, to send on to a customer at a moments notice, which is probably normally the case. But in an instance like this where that something becomes suddenly popular and no longer available, they most likely hope to wait it out, until they can take delivery from the next batch, which is what I think we are experiencing here.

Because Jin is in with the production source, he still has, or continues to have, these models to sell, but these other outlets are awaiting having their orders filled, first come first served, but Jin is on the ground floor with the production.

That's my take anyway.

Hello friend, we have contacted the USPS shipping company and they have updated the tracking information (tracking number RV876130360CN ), but there is a small problem. The USA custom said that for this item, we have to do some paper work with them first before we could be able to sell kind of items in USA. So they will hold the item in US stock or return it back to us until the work is done, we will keep the items in the US stock, then we will be able to deliver the item to customers. We have no idea how long will this take, so we have sent you the full refund. If you are still interested in the item, we will inform you when all the work is done with the US customs. We know that this is really inconvenience for you, and it is also bad for us too. These days the US customs make things a little harder for items that comes from China. We are really sorry for the issue and hope you will understand for us. Please accept our dearest apologize. We promise to bring a better service in the future for you!
Kind regards and apologies!
Yours sincerely.

Great news for me Nick, as I have a different tracking number, so I'm sure mine is not involved in the screw-up you and Benny are experiencing! ;c)

My number isn't very different however, so I suppose that should be cause for at least a little concern. I'll still wait it out, especially now that I see Jin has at least ten available on a BIN.

Did you get all of your money refunded, or did you have to cough up paypal fees?

I received the entire $295 back to my account and asked about the tracking number

Dear friend, yes, but right now the US customs is holding our products. We will have to work with them for some authorization papers. So we think USPS will cancel this tracking number information. Really sorry for the issue! We will inform you when we will finish the papers with them!
Best regards!

UPDATE:

Just got email notification that the plane has finally landed ... in New York, only 14 days after take-off in China.

Now to see if my item happens to be delivered to Denver CO. or some other location besides here with me.

Wow, Nick that is funny. At least no problems with the refund. Jin's website showed 100 available to buy at the same price as his ebay BiN. My ebay listing was under $6 shipping so essentially free

Just to add a little more fun to the mix I just got an email from AliExpress tracking that says my engine was at the Opa Locka FL distribution center on the 17th and arrived at the "delivery office" on the 19th - interesting as I had cancelled the order and go my refund on the 15th.

Larry

The drama continues. Just got another email from USPS that my package will be delivered by 8:00 PM today (my regular carrier has already been and gone). Looks like I might have an Eachine even after they gave me a refund - will be interesting to see what happens next!  ???

Larry

You're a lucky devil if you get a freebie.

The one I ordered from Jin on the 18th showed shipped yesterday morning with an orangeconnex tracking number. I have faith this one will arrive in a timely manner.

Last update says "Delivery successful" then "Delivered, Parcel Locker 2019-04-19 16:19:00 (Titusville, 32780)" - sure would like to know the true story of this but probably never will.
