Perhaps if Jin had made his items  Buy it Now at the price he wanted instead of cancelling bids because they didn't make enough money he would not be in the fix he now finds himself.

Hi Roy. We do not even know if this is what happened and neither does the complainer.
It could easily have been shipped and then lost by the postal service.

If he did do what he is accused of, ebay needs to explain to him in chinese that this is not acceptable and to discontinue said practice.

I know I have complained when ebay sellers canceled sales and refunded even buyitnow items and ebay flat out refused to help me... making me think it might be better for Jin to simply cancel and refund immediately rather than let ebay send out a shipped notice.  Incidentally, the item shipped notices from ebay businesses are going out near immediately after payment and I believe this is encouraged by if not insisted on by ebay. 

Bottom line is ebay may have culpability in this.
