Nice shot Charlie!!  8)

Thanks Nick. He was about 4 feet away. I was sitting in my Rocker on my porch. He was drying his feathers in the sun after a rain storm. I just happened to have my Cannon on the table. 🤠

A Texas Roadrunner visited me on the porch at my Ranch.

Very nice shot Charlie especially with backlit conditions.

Thanks Nick, I do enjoy bird photography.

Post up the photos of your Goldfinches, I'd love to see them.

Here ya go Jim, I've decided I either need a stronger lens or quieter kids  :D :D

Thanks Jim, didn't know that it had a name, but I like the effect. All I did was set my lens to manual focus and focused on the bird, the camera did the rest

Bokeh is something that 'togs really strive for Nick as it accentuates the focus on the main subject.

I like it for the same reason, and good to know that I am doing something right  :D
