Some truly great additions to the Pitchy museum there, and beautiful additions as well.

I always marvel at the built in elegance of the everyday tools and equipment from years gone by. Makes today's world seem so sterile and ugly by comparison!

Amazing how good some of that machinery looks when cleaned up and painted - good work Lenn! And that scythe looks good but can take a toll on you if you're not used to using one. I tried my father-in-law's once for about ten minutes and a miracle happened - I didn't die (but felt like it)!

Larry

trolleys & all look really good, I bought one last year (never did anything with it) & your right, some of them are very ornate.

I've cut many weeds down with a scythe, and upgraded my dry-rotted wooden snath to aluminum. They are definitely awkward to use at first. There are some pretty good "scythe competition" videos on youtube

Thanks Bruce and Nick, it works better in the tall grass i was trying it on two inch grass at first and didn`t work out very well.
I`m not going to be able to cut much but want to try it, if we do get some hay down we`re going to build one of those hand feed hay boxes.
