Not sure how it happened but the (almost) most important room in the house finally got finished - I think I might have been getting a lot of guidance from above (SHMBO). At any rate the Steam Room is finally setup and ready for business. It's the smallest bedroom but it's mine! The bad part is that it's about half the size that I had before so after a lot of thought it looks like maybe half of my collection will have to go to someone new - not wonderful but have exhausted the other possibilities. I'm building a Grahamn TVR1ABB kit and it sure is nice just to sit there working away in a great atmosphere - it good to be back!

What a fantastic Man Cave Larry!
You sure have a wonderful workspace.
Thank you for sharing the pictures.
Charlie
lovely room for your lovely models
Very nice steam room Larry , the vessel your working on intrigues me.
I was just reading the nice comments when I looked at the pictures again, noticed the angel hanging from the light, and went looking in my photos for when I carved it for the church. Not only did I find them but by chance they were right next to ones of me building my first TVR1ABB that was semi-destroyed by an inadvertent trip down to the concrete floor. At any rate thought I'd impose on you by adding them to the thread.

Haven’t seen the rest of the house, but I bet that’s the best looking room
Larry:
Have you made any progress on your train layout?

Actually I just finished laying the last of the track today so now the O scale on top and the Fn3 ? (1:20.3 45 mm) on the bottom are both ready to start running and fine tuning before starting any scenery. With the layout restart a while ago and all the outside painting, landscaping, installing gutter leaf guard, etc. I haven't been able to put a lot of time on it. But now everything is pretty well done so I can concentrate on railroads and my list of steam projects - happy days!

Fantastic "cave" you´ve set up there Larry!
Are you going to power the ongoing Victoria build with the TVR1ABB?

I've got a MSM Clyde power plant that I set it up for Jan - it's sitting on the top shelf right beside/in front of the French Naval Academy vertical in the glass dome. I bought the TVR1ABB kit as a replacement five or six years ago but never got around to building it - it's on a list of a dozen projects that I've put off way too long, enough to keep me going a couple of years.
Love the steam room and railroad room as well. Lots of "warmth" as I would call it.
Larry, your new steam room is awesome. You got a lot packed in there while remaining neat and well organized.
The rail yard below looks great too!
Very well done...!!!
Gil
Thanks to all for your nice comments - I often hesitate to "blow my own horn" so I do appreciate the replies. Just to finish up in addition to the railway layouts and digging the excess and duplicate engines out of storage to test and get ready to sell I've got the following list of projects to do - as I said it ought to keep me busy for a long time but that's not all bad. Oh, I forgot one project, it's a Cheddar Pipit Steam Engine Plant to be restored.
