I bought one of these second hand in 2014 and have put over 100k miles on it since then--great vehicle. Not a fashion statement or macho, but the stow-n-go seats made it the only good choice for me. Unlike a pickup truck, you never have to worry about your contents being exposed to the weather or theft. I've moved several large hot air engines in the back and can even haul 4 x 8 ft sheets of plywood. The Dodge Grand Caravan was a great value but unfortunately is no longer offered--now we will have to pay a lot more for Chrysler's Pacifica model.
This one is a 2018, quite an improvement over our 2005 Grand Caravan

I am definitely not a fan of the Pacifica
3 years ago, Grandpa went to buy a 2016 and they were only going to give him $300 for the ‘05 with 180K miles. Luckily he didn’t “give” it to them and we ended up with it. Not even a couple weeks later we took it on a road trip from Minnesota to Wyoming. We’ve put a little over 80K miles on it the past 3 years and all I have replaced is the water pump ($35), radiator ($65), rear wheel bearing ($30) and of course tires and brakes. I have hauled many sheets of plywood, lots of sand and patio pavers, a few old gas engines and even steel tractor wheels.

I don’t think my pickup has left the yard more than a half a dozen times over the past few years. When we only had 2 kids we would sleep in the Wal-Mart parking lot and throw the seats up on the roof.
