This is so not the type of announcement I like to share. We got the call 2 hours ago at 5:00 am today.
Secilia Maria Souza has lost her battle with the with the wuhan flu aka Covid-19 at age 74.
The first major plague of the 21st century has come far too close to home. She died peacefully and comfortably in a hospital in Goiania, Brazil.
In her last conversations, a couple of days ago,
Secilia said her goodbyes mostly via video calls with those who mattered the most.
She said she knew it was coming.
She could feel her life slipping away.
She said the Lord Jesus Christ is waiting for her on the other side.
Armed with this certain knowledge, she was totally at peace as she passed.
May God bless and keep her always.
Simone's father, Paulo, while overcome with grief, is still fighting his own battle with this plague.
