It is with almost infinite sadness that I remember this day twelve years ago, when I hiked up into the amazing Bowser Basin, broke camp, and hiked back out for the last time. I cannot begin to express the feelings that I had then, nor those I still feel today, but it forever remains a truly seminal part of my existence!
